Does anyone know how to unarm the alarm on the Blue Hat Toy Company Kids Projection Alarm Clock?

An awesome Christmas gift and my son loves it. I set the alarm thinking that there was a switch somewhere to turn it on and off on days he needs to get up for school, but no. It goes off every day, even those that he doesn’t need up so early on. How in the world do I turn the alarm off and on without constantly having to set the time and date?

From what I figured so far, you hit the “Alarm Set” button then hit “Down” until the alarm and snooze lights go off. Hope that helps.

I wish! My son got this for Christmas, too, and it’s been driving us nuts! Who ever designed this thing to not have an alarm on/off switch should be kicked out to the curb. The rest of the clock is wonderful, but this one design oversight is a pretty serious flaw.
First, the alarm time could only be set to military time while the regular time was not. Once I kept reseting the time over and over, that went away, but it would not allow me to get the alarm set for AM. So, we’ve been having this thing beep at 6:30 P.M. for the last week. I’ve just been letting it go for 15 minutes and then it shuts off. But after reading the other answer here, I tried something else.
When you press ‘alarm set’ it first prompts you through the MONTH and DATE settings. At first I thought these were useless, but tonight I tried setting them for the next day: 1/11. It then allowed me to set the time for 6:30 AM. I figure that if it works tomorrow, my son will just have to reset the alarm for 1/12 in place of turning it off. This should work for 1/13 and so on. Once Friday morning comes, he will skip ahead 2 dates for the following Monday and will hopefully have uninterrupted weekend slumber. I will try to update my answer later in the week with the results, as long as the question isn’t closed.
