How do the schools have fire alarm drills without out the trucks coming everytime the fire alarm sounded?

How do the school staff have fire alarm drills without having the fire company comming all the time do they set drill dates and give it to the company or do they call 911 and say were having a drill
the school calls the fire department and lets them know that they are having a drill and to not respond to it
sometimes they dont turn on the security and just puill it.
To the second answer: With fire zones on a security system, it does not matter if the system is armed or disarmed (on or off) as smoke & heat detectors are programmed as “24 Hour Zones”.
To answer your question they call the fire department to let them know and most of the time (even though they are to do it ALL the time) call the security company and let them know too.
