This question is open for opinions…but they have to be based on fact.
Looking for the balance of range, price, and quality.
Thums up and best answer goes to the one who incorperated all 3 in their answer.

i have a viper alarm with autostart. i have had it for like five, six years. it works perfect, never had a problem other than the battery dieing in the remote once. i can use the keypad from about thirty yards away. i dont remember the price of it but it has autostart, rolls up the window when lock is pushed, valet, code changing, lock unlock. its nice i like it and have never had any problems. i live in new mexico and got it at Audio Express. its a viper.
I can’t make any comment on which unit would suit you best but I can give you some advice.
Whichever kit you do decide on, make sure your installer knows what they sre doing. Even after you are convinced that they will do a good install, make sure they will stand behind it. If there are any problems related to the install.
I see many vehicles that have aftermarket upfitted items that were “professionally” installed that have problems later on.
It seems most common that I see aftermarket alarm systems an remote start systems wired poorly. The results of that can be very costly and inconveincing as it may leave you stranded. And if your vehicle is in warranty but your PCM or ECM is trashed because of the aftermarket kit and the way it was wired, you will be the one responsible if the installer won’t stand behind their work and the potential peripheral damage that they may cause.
