On a home security system monitored by a major company, would the in house siren go off even if you don’t pay?

I know the major alarm company would not monitor the home if you quit paying the bill or cancel service, but I think the actual sensors which are installed along with the in home hidden siren would still work. I’m asking this because the city in which I live does not send the police anymore to a home where the home security alarm has gone off. A rent a cop will be sent instead to the home, and then, if they see the house has been broken into, they call the real police. By that time your entire home could be cleaned out.
Then I suggest you pay your bills.
No alarms will go off if you’re not up to date with your bill. They are regulated through the memory system and your phone line.
Yes the siren still work but there will not be any assistance in from them at time of break in
Yes, I had a system in my former house.. The sirens on two places on the outside of the house.. high up on the roof… I did not pay for its use but it was installed. I could sest the timers, etc etc and would work if when I was gone, somebody broke in, the sirens would go off (VERY VERY LOUD)
Yes the entire system will work however no cental station monitoring will be provided if your alarm activates which means that no police would respond at the request of the company but a nosey neighbor might call the police.
When you miss a payment, the alarms go off and the police and fire department come out to collect.
OK, I’m lying.
