I have a house alarm thats directly linked to the police station and was broken into!!!?

I was broken into about two weeks ago and the alarm didn’t go off when they entered. I have been trying it the past two weeks and it seems to slip up alot. Can the alarm company be held liable at all???

On a home security system monitored by a major company, would the in house siren go off even if you don’t pay?

I know the major alarm company would not monitor the home if you quit paying the bill or cancel service, but I think the actual sensors which are installed along with the in home hidden siren would still work. I’m asking this because the city in which I live does not send the police anymore [...]

I just moved into a house that has an alarm system wired into it and everything. It’s a “magnum alert.” My question is how do i go about activating it? Do i have to go through the company that installed it or does that matter? Can i go through any alarm company? Thanks!
