need to cancel my alarm monitoring service, they tell me i cant because i signed a 5 yr contract?

i live in texas it was installed on may 28th, the cops started showing up every time the alarm went off even if i had disabled it. the alarm company never called first either. when i contacted them to see what the problem was they said they would have someone contact me the next day, a week later i was finally contacted and was told they’d have to pull my file and get back to me. i decided to cancel my service since evey time the cops come out it costs me 60 bucks. 2 days later they call back and say i can not cancel my service because i signed a 5 yr contract. can anyone please help me get this canceled?

August of 2008 my house was broken into and 1/2 my stuff including my laptop was stolen and the police hasn’t found anything almost a year later , and I told everyone I need a alarm system and a friend told me that some alarm companies give out free alarms when a New one hits the market . I was always told that once you get broken into they will break back into your place cause they will come back for something they missed.

I’ve got everything but the diagram for the alarm telling me what the harness wire’s are from the alarm.Opened the box and it was missing,anyone know the parent company to impulse or their website?I need a wireing diagram if you have it,or the website.

My fathers landscaper cut the main phone line going into the building and busted the phone box on accident (backed into it with a Ditch-Witch). He also cut it underground while digging a trench that same day (yes, he is fired.) The landscaper is nowhere to be found and the phone company is gonna charge quite a bit to repair the damage. So with the phone line(s) cut will it effect the alarm system or does it need to be repaired asap?

Hi! We just moved to the Los Angeles area and I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for a Home Security/ Alarm company? In Dallas, where we used to live I went on the boards and asked this same question and someone reccomended THE BEST Locally owned Alarm company. They were just $17 a month with no contracts! I obviously know about the big ones, but I was hoping to strike gold again with perhaps a local one here that is cheaper and works. Thanks so much!
