I don’t have a home alarm system. Someone broke into my house yesterday afternoon, took our xbox, laptop, and some other electronics totaling a estimated value of $1690 . Should I buy the alarm system myself, then pay a monitoring company. Or should I go with a company like ADT?

Should we tip the guy who’s installing our home alarm system? He’s from the security company.?

Not a contractor, but from the company we’re already shelling out the bucks to for a home system. Are we supposed to tip him, and if so, how much? He’s here now but almost done… help!

Why should I have my home alarm connected to a company to monitor it?

I am getting 4 estimates for an alarm installation and wondered what questions I should ask. Thanks for any suggestions.

Should a paralegal program be approved by the bar association?

There is only one paralegal program in my town, but when I checked out which ones were approved it wasn’t on there. Does that really effect whether or not you are hired? Should I move to a place where they do have an approved one?
